
Sue-Anne Webster is Australia's top female magician. Born in Sydney, Sue-Anne's interest in magic was sparked by watching 'The David Nixon Magic Show' on TV. Pursuing magic all her life, she also trained in the allied arts of drama, dance, mime and puppetry. All of these skills were combined in her award-winning 'Haunted Mansion' magic which was transformed into a one hour show that toured Australia.
Sue-Anne is also internationally renowned as the only woman in the world to saw someone in half with a real chainsaw.
Sue-Anne has toured the world performing magic and teaching other magicians. She has appeared at the Grand West Casino in South Africa, Raffles Hotel Singapore, Sullivan St Playhouse New York, Le Double Fond Paris, and headlined at Hollywood’s famous Magic Castle.
She has been profiled in New Idea, Fernwood, Home, and Genii Magazines along with countless newpaper articles, and two books. At the recent 29th Australian Convention of Magicians, Sue-Anne Webster's brand new 'I Dream Of Jeannie' Tribute Show was voted 'Best Stage Act in Australia'. Set in a Magic Museum, Jeannie emerges from her bottle in a puff of smoke (just like on TV) but with no camera tricks! A huge vase of flowers vanishes right in front of your eyes. An antique table floats through the air. And a mischievous handkerchief comes to life. All performed to a customised music score written by movie composer Craig Bryant.
